A little about ourselves
Dandy Dachshund is an AKC breeder, offering AKC miniature dachshund puppies for sale. Our goal is to be one of the best dachshund breeders around. Our dogs range in size from around 8 to 12 lbs. We strive to produce good quality puppies that are beautiful, along with a great temperaments and excellent health. We are proud to announce we have been AKC inspected on 05/2019, and passed the inspection.
We are a small family owned business in south Louisiana, close to Lafayette, LA. We breed only AKC dachshunds. We do not stud out our dogs.
We have owned dachshunds for over 20 years. They are sweet and funny. Once you get one, you will need more.
We raise both long and short hair dachshunds. We have a variety of colors and patterns. We are offering brindle, piebald and dapples. We have cream, red, isabella, chocolate, black and tan, and black and cream. Our puppies are sold as pet only, limited AKC on a spay/neuter contract. We sometimes offer full AKC breeding rights, for a higher price, but to responsible breeders only.
Our dogs are our kids. They have access to inside and outside. They have an acre yard to play in. They are not kept in kennels or cages. They have 10 acres to run on, with supervision. They are fed good quality food. New puppies are raised in the house and played with daily. They are wormed and up to date on vaccinations. They usually go to their new homes between 7 to 8 weeks of age.
We want our puppies to have a good forever home that will love them. We can deny sale to anyone for any reason. We do not want our puppies to go to puppy mills, pet stores, or pet flippers.
A $300.00 deposit is required to hold the puppy of your choice. This is nonrefundable and nontransferable. Once a deposit is received, your puppy will be listed as sold. A personal check will be accepted for the deposit. You must full pay by 8 weeks or when the puppy is picked up. If not full paid by this time, your puppy will be put up for sale again and you will lose your deposit. The puppy must be picked up between 7 - 8 weeks. The final amount must be paid by cash when you pick up your puppy. A check will not be accepted for the final payment.
